I must correct you on one item on which I am positive you are wrong. Also, I am no fan of Mr. Obama. He is, IMHO, the worst kind of liar and leftwing radical there is. I hope he never holds another public office.
The Indonesian school Obama went to is not a madrasa, wahabi, or even a Muslim school. It was and still is a multi-religion, standard, run of the mill elementary school. I have seen it and I have met the faculty. The male faculty wear white dress shirts with ties, slacks, wingtip shoes, and knitted sweaters. The ladies? Traditional dresses and skirts to below the knees, no bare breasted allowed. They teach math, reading, spelling, penmanship, world geography and history. If they must, students are allowed to pray at their assigned times.
During recess, boys and girls(no burkas)play ball and tag with each other, no seperation. During gym class, girls and boys all wear the same type gym shorts and jerseys, and tennis or running shoes and play games and exercise together.
This is no wahabi school. It is NOT a Muslim school. But, the fact is, Obama was registered as a Muslim when enrolled there, because that was what his father was.
Thanks for the opportunity,
Glenn Flowers

If you take a close look at Colin Powell and his statements, you may find he is actually a closet liberal, a damn fine soldier, but not a conservative.

You're probably right, Boaz
Gen. Powell probably can't be labeled as a conservative by the standards of many moralistic, theocratic Americans who wrap themselves in the flag of 'conservatism.' But I don't think for a moment that he is liberal. It would be philosophically contradictory for "a fine soldier" to be liberal. He could most probably best be called libertarian or individualistic.
