There will be at least TWO Republicans (Collins and Snowe) who will vote with this stuff. That makes 62. Assume that Byrd and Kennedy are out sick, they still have 60 votes.

But maybe "conservative" Democrat senators will vote with the filibuster? You mean like conservative Bill Nelson (ACU Lifetime 37%)? Or conservative Jim Webb (12%). How about conservative Evan Bayh (21%). How about conservative Sherrod Brown (9%). You would need two of the four, and I will bet you that you will get none.

What these numbers prove is that the "conservative" Democrat is a lie invented to dupe the voters with complicity of the media.
