They are just enraged that they have to pay the troops salaries, and for ammunition and training and stuff.

Like the post office, the army should pay for itself. We just need to invade richer countries and take the spoils of war.

Tea Party goers have no problem paying for troops. They'd rather see the money go to the military. What they DON'T like paying for is fat-cat politicians and welfare cheats.
