Gas Is Expensive, Get Over It

You are absolutely correct. People should not be complaining about the cost of oil when it is much more expensive overseas.

In Chesapeake, VA, a plan has been outlined to put into operation an ethanol plant which will help America ween itself off of foreign oil. It's a great idea and a great way to stick it to the Arabs by thumbing our noses at the oil chain they hold around our necks. Unfortunately, the local citizenry, who is among those complaining about the cost of oil, doesn't want the plant because by products of the proecess stinks and may drive down property values.

People want their cake and to eat it too and it's just not possible. They want us off of foreign oil and onto the alternative fuel fad being pursued by liberals but no one, no one, is willing to sacrifice, even just a little, to obtain that goal.
