A few frustrations

You know Scott, that narrow-mindedness is frustrating. It is my understanding that the church wants people exercising their free choice by being politically active. Each year a letter from the Presidency of the Church encourages people to study the issues, study the candidates, become informed and vote for the candidate that best suits their conscience. In fact we were encouraged through a letter from stake/area leaders to participate in which ever caucus we were affiliated...weather it be democratic, republican, or whatever. The church is clear that it doesn't support political parties or candidates.

The thing that you have to look at is the big picture. Though we in Iowa really want to matter, the outcome of the caucuses rarely lock in the candidate. I don't remember a President Pat Roberts, do you? It won't be long before the evangelicals start to feel betrayed by Huck. He is going to be a one show pony.

Don't worry, be happy.
