Teachers: It Takes All Kinds

You'll find many of the best history teachers,
especially at the high school level teach away
from the textbook. Or as I do have the kids
use it as a reference to check if they're unclear
on something covered in class. This is not the
same as the teacher who uses personal experience,
this is more like, bring in your own resources that
are better than the textbook and use that as your
baseline.
