I guess it would be expected that blacks would vote en masse for Obama. THey have been on the ouside looking in for 150 years and now one of theirs is a viable candidate. I use the word "viable" advisedly and not as a synonym for "qualified".

On the other hand, I haven't noticed a noticeable shift of white voters away from Obama in reaction to the unified black vote for him. And after all, to vote for Hillary now or McCain later should not label the individual as holding racist tendencies. We still have choices in this country if we want to exercise them.

White voters aren't supposed to notice that Obama is black. Only black voters can do that.
