Conspiracy Theorists' False Logic

Contingencies

There are indeed contingencies and scenarios worked up and worked on in gov't and especially military offices.
I know of one contingency plan in place now about our missile boats, but if I told you, I'd have to kill you, and I don't feel like making the drive.

Besides, the Great Zionist Conspiracy for World Domination probably has the details already.

If I told you everything we knew... well, I would just claim it was disinformation, so no need to kill you. But we might kill you anyway, just to throw everyone off the scent.

That's how we are. Tricky.

I almost drifted into a Monty Python bit about the weapons of the Spanish Inquisition, but stopped myself. Simply mentioning it, without reciting it, is far more annoying. And by making everyone just a little more uncomfortable, we advance our sinister goals...

Actually, that sounds more Discordian than Zionist World Domination Conspiracy like... Then again, maybe the Discordians are just a fiction we created to confuse and disorient you. Or maybe not.

Wouldn't you like to know?

And seriously, the number of bizarre contingency plans in both military and civilian offices would probably surprise most people.

During the period prior tot he Second World War, Hitler was notorious for asking his generals to generate plans on rather short notice. A lot of times they simply did not have the time needed and would end up updating old studies. The big plans, Fall Gelb, Fall Weiss, Fall Gruen, Fall Rot, those were, by and large, the products of long term planning, but they were also updated rather rapidly, sometimes based on older studies. The generals simply never had enough time to meet his demands, and so they often had to fall back upon old studies, updated to account for changes in troop strength and geography.

That is why armies and intelligence agencies make so many absurd contingency plans, you never know what possibility may become a reality.

It is akin to those who are surprised Israel spies on us. Don't they think we spy on our allies too? Spies are hardly just for enemies and neutrals.

Or maybe this is all just Zionist Disinformation again...
