The mindset on which Community Organizing is premised requires a dysfunction in the community for it to need organizing. Its goal is to create a grievance industry geared to extracting handouts from the powers that be to placate the malcontents.
Extrapolated to a national scale, it is fraught with dangers. Let us count the ways:
1. It presupposes a dysfunction on a national scale, untenable in a polity which still relies on the institutional infrastructure of governance;
2. The powers that be are the onese spearheading the organizing, so any action galvanized from the scenario is reduced to executing marching orders from the powers that be which is the hallmark of a dictatorship;
3. It requires zero-tolerance to dissent since marching orders are created to be followed not to be debated on.
That's what you get for elevating to the Oval Office a successful Community Organizer, a.k.a. a Neighborhood Agitator: Thuggery is an integral element to its modus operandi.
