Not only did Obama leave out the log cabin. I was waiting for wearing hand me downs, walking to school uphill (both ways) in the snow with holes in his socks.

I don't know which was more silly, the "Joe Biden, the little guy's best friend" or Obama's "I want to give the middle class a big hug and kiss".

I recall the last guy who loved the middle class, Bill Clinton. Unfortunately he defined "middle class" down to people making $45K a year or less, making them look a lot like poor people and returning to his democrat roots of caring only about the very top and very bottom, except in election years, when they rediscover the middle class.

You are correct. The Democrats fall all over the middle class during elections, but the rest of the time can't be bothered with them.

As for Joe, what a guy. I was too busy laughing to hear the rest. Actually he should have said that Joe's father built the log cabin by hand. Now that would have gotten people's heart strings going. Ugh!

I have to give to McCain who kept saying that Biden was wrong on so many things. Lets divide up Iraq! Right on!
