Note: I commented on "Morality" and thought I'd draw your attention to something quickly.

The founding fathers were very sagacious about what they did, what they wrote, and what they said. They harbored a lot of reservations about relinquishing power directly to "the people". In a sense, they agreed with Plato's assessment that of the political system in which he argued that government by the aristocracy (rule by the best) was preferable to timocracy (rule by the honorable) which was preferable to oligarchy (rule by the few) which was preferable to democracy (rule by the mob) which was preferable to tyranny (rule by one). They wanted the best possible government, and they recognized that could, at times, be exclusionary of the people's will.

So it seems it is with this post of yours. In advocating the removal of government constraint, you are (rightfully, I would think) advocating the return of autonomy to the people. The citizenry of the United States includes the nut jobs on YouTube, though, and it seems like you think their voice is less-than-helpful to the nation. Consequently, I conclude that you would agree with the conservative, non-libertarian position that sometimes government must supercede the voice of the people.
