Va., needs the oil drilling. If the 'powers that be' had common sense those needs would be fullfilled! If we don't change the chancey Obama boat and direction, America will not stay afloat! Elections have consequences! All the brain power in America and look what we end up with? The three clowns 'O', slow Joe and sassy Nancy! How did we get so lucky, Haaaaaaaaaaa!

That is a good cause to push. America should not have a trade deficit, let alone give money to nations that do not like us. Good Luck and keep fighting.

I'm about bursting at the seams wanting to do something. Letters, petitions, phone calls, faxes..........I'm feeling itchy to do more. Drilling is one of my favorite topic. I have the"drill here drill now" bumper sticker and ask the powers that be why in the world we aren't drilling when it would literally make all the difference in the world in our economy. I can't think of anything that would do more to stimulate us right out of this recession. Good work, Mrs. AL.

I was mortified when I saw the reports about the farmers being denied H2O of all things. Talk about a group that needs to sharpen their pitchforks! I agree about not staying afloat. But I don't blame Obama per se. As far as I'm concerned, "politician" is a dirty word and should no longer be used in polite company. We need STATESMEN/WOMEN and not a bunch of pathetic humanoids who care only about their own power and control over the rest of us.
Now see what you did, you got me all riled up again. Thanx, miss vicky!!!

Hey, Patrick ...
thanx for the encouragement. I am on a tear at this point. Enough is enough. Virginia has oil and they better get their butts in gear. We need the industry and the jobs as well. Other State in the Union had better get cracking also. The middle east is going to blow up and we will be s t u c k!

We are all going to reap a really bad outcome if we don't get on the ball here. I know you agree and all your hard work is appreciated by us all. We gotta' keep the pressure on! A "fantasy" I have is winning a multi-million dollar lottery and being able to produce commercials. Given my background, I know I could make a diff. In the meantime, my State officials are going to have to endure multiple phone calls, etc.

Until there's no place left to drill is the answer for the US - I agree. Done correctly we could bne a net exporter of oil and find the ChiComs back at OUR door.

Make yourself known. I hope they hear you and others. The continuance of pressure cannot be stopped now, otherwise the leftist media wont have anything to denigrate besides Rush, Beck, and Hannity! I also have been busy and have barely kept up my blog.
Just got a new job and my wife's one month pregnant. I'm praying my upcoming children will have a future where the dollar will be worth something and our country and its' citizens isn't belittled by it's own administration.

Pardon our noise,
it's the sound of freedom!
So state the signs near many Air Force bases and Navy air fields, yet there are still many who complain that flight operations are an untenable burden for those who CHOSE to buy/build their houses in the flight paths of those installations.
NIMBY is the same mindset encountered by the oil companies seeking to erect drilling platforms in the effort to free our nation from dependence on oil supplies located in less than stable areas of the world. Even when the wacko environmentalists are restrained from interfering with expansion of operations needed to promote utilization of this critical natural resource, wrenches are thrown into the gears of progress by those selfish elitists who are all for exploration on American soil - as long as it is done where they can't see it.

You didn’t miss much when you missed me in D.C., though I would have liked your reaction to the “security” issue I cited in my last posting.
I like the Earp reference. Haven’t thought about that incident in quite some time. These battles aren’t fun and they sure do put a crimp in ones schedule. However, to secure true liberty (via the Declaration of Independence) for the folks after us, it is necessary.

As for who torqued me off, let’s see … there are 100 Senators, 400 some odd Representatives, czars up the ying yang and State officials with the spines of jelly fish.

Also, I could be all wrong, but you might want to look up that old saying. I think you meant to use another old saying, “birds of a feather poop all over you.” No? Oh well, I tried.

First, I am so very sorry to learn of your family`s sad anniversary for the loss of your little granddaughter just five years ago. Children are the most precious gift of all. She is an angel and she lives through you and in your memories of her. God bless her, you and your family!
Mrs. AL! You are sure spunky and ready to rumble! I agree with miss vicky (ex dem, who should blog!) about the water in the Fresno area. To protect smelt! We should be drilling and doing whatever it takes to put people back to work! What the rip is this healthcare fiasco all about! There was no plan to begin with, is none now and there will never be one that could work! It was just supposed to happen because prezbo said so! Passing a health care bill will do nothing to create jobs and bring peace of mind to millions of Americans! These beltway elites never fail to disgust me. You are doing amazing things, Mrs. AL! Thanks!

Ethanol? No. Biofuels? No. Wind? Gotta be kidding. Solar? In Seattle? Huh? No. Drill for oil? Yep. Drill for natural gas? Yep. Mine coal for electricity? Yep. Complete idle nuke plants? Yep. Build new ones? Yes.
Will we ever be a net exporter? No. Will we ever be energy independent? No. Sorry, Gar. Cannot and will not ever happen.

Actually, DrPete I think it’s not a bad idea to explore other options. But the powers that be clearly want to reduce us to a third or fourth world country via an alternative energy agenda. It’s their doing that we don’t have people exploring things because we have become so dependent on “government” for direction, permission and, sanction. What a crock of … well, you know.
P.S. As I write this -- go Philly's (in honor of my husband person)!
