Francis Schaeffer on American World View

Mr. Schaeffer died in 1984. A Christian Manifesto was among the last of his books published in 1982. His view of the decline of what he calls the original American world view based on a Personal God is worth noting. His words of 30 years ago about intolerance, arbitrary law and authoritarianism from the false reality preached by the darwinites and their drones are proving to be prophetic. We who have lived through the decline cannot see it as clearly as he.

Can constitutionalism be recovered based on a material-energy, chance view of reality? I think Mr. Schaeffer would agree that such an endeavor is complete folly. The uniqueness of American constitionalism is forever dependent on that original world view based on the self-revealed God and His Law and Gospel.
