You are on the right track and your Dr. has given you some good advice. I take blood pressure meds also, and sometimes following current events is NOT a good thing to do.

...you're not the only one. This is a darned stressful hobby we've adopted, huh? This is the hardest work I've ever done. Can you imagine those people who update their blogs daily? or several times daily? I do very well to crank out a piece every week or 2.
I sleep good at night knowing that Jesus Christ controls history. Not the democrats. Sure the dem's are now very cocky and self assured. Just sit back, listen to some of that inspirational Christmas music and watch the Lord work. Its not up to us or the dem's/rino's - but Him. DD

I myself have laid off the news as of late but due to life, not burn out. I must admitt, my stress level is down since the election...
