I see by your mastery of the english language and your studies of the greek philisophers that you have done well in school; much better I imagine than many that will read your column. This is a credit to you and the system that seeks immigrants such as your family to contribute to this great nation. Being different is not always accepted well by those that are of weak minds, poor morals and consumed by fear of those that would persecute them so they lash out at the ones they can persecute. It is amazing they always require an audience of the same low intelect as themselves to commit these acts or more often have to do these persecutions as a group. You will have the solace of knowing that through out life you will be far ahead in any endeavor you attempt and they will be lagging behind mired in failure claiming to be victims of the people they persecuted. I'm glad that you respect the laws that so many today ignore or selectively enforce driven by the greed of corporate entities or special interest groups. Ignoring the law only breeds corruption as we have seen as of late in our government. Please voice your opinions as a citizen to our elected officials often because I'm of the opinion they need to hear your story and be reminded that you reap what you sow and there are a lot of weeds blowing across our borders.
