Conservative talk show host Jerry Doyle uses the phrase "creeping incrementalism" when speaking of government intrusion into our lives and morals. Although I have yet to hear him use the phrase when referring to homosexuality and lesbianism. I mention those two specifically not only because you mention them, but because homosexuality and lesbianism are also key issues in which the idea of "creeping incrementalism" definitely apply. They are also a good example for what you speak about as they (the Socialists [d] homosexuals and lesbians)are slowly trying to get people to change on their issues. What is interesting is that they will do it "by hook or by crook", i.e. anyway they can. Again(when referring to the issues of gun control, homosexuality and lesbianism)I ask the question using the old addage;
"How do you cook a frog?"
Jerry Doyle has the right answer-"creeping incrementalism".
