I enjoyed your honesty in this article. Sometimes life isn't "fair".

What really caught my attention was the last paragraph about the rest of the world coming here for their health issues.

Long story short: My mother had colon cancer which spread. Her doctors sent her from PA to John Hopkins in Baltmore. While she recieved treatments I prowled the hospital out of boredom. I witnessed people from all over the world (from dress and languages I heard) who travelled to Maryland for care.

I have blogged this story befre and it has been called antecdotal ...call it want you want but I witnessed this with my own eyes... We have the best healthcare in the world.
