You're obviously a smart guy, so I think you know what's wrong with the point you're trying to make here.
Who cares which candidate al Queda supports? They're a bunch of bloodthirsty, looney douchebags -- they could support a trained chimp for Prez and it wouldn't matter a whit. If some radical Nazi group came out in support of McCain/Palin, would you wonder if they were somehow funneling cash to the campaign? Of course not.

You can do better than this, my friend.
