Benazir Bhutto Assassinated! A Tragic and Unnecessary Loss

I heartily wish America's leaders had listened to John Bolton. Musharref was in a better position to lead while he had control of the military and the political. Americans get jittery when they see something that would never work in America. They always assume that it should be fixed to look like America.
Pakistan is not America. The people have a different outlook and a different history. We value democratic ideals learned from the Greeks. The only impact the Greeks had on Pakistani history was the battle between Pyrrhus and Alexander on a Punjabi field.
America wounded its ally, Musharref, by forcing him to relinquish military control and to allow Bhutto back into the country. Now, he has to deal with the mess caused by "do gooders" without a clue. For Pakistan's sake, I hope he succeeds.
