Why are the tax payers of Cook County paying for his treatment, prescriptions and aftercare?
This is one of the reasons Stroger is cutting funding for substance abuse and mental health treatment for women offenders, including those who would give birth to drug free babies while participating in one of these programs offered by the Cook County Sheriff's Department of Women's Justice Services (go ahead, look it up).
Abusing the system is no joke, it's a crime. Making a mockery of it is heart breaking.
