Mysteriously "developed." Private landing strips and dachas are built in some of the most pristine preserves. Yes, I hang my head in shame to be stuck with those two red menaces as my voice in the Senate. It is a waste of time to email them but it is my civic duty to do so. Us redheaded stepchildren here on the east side of my state have no recourse or redress in the senate.

Tom Coburn is TRYING to do all he can but I see it as a losing battle as he does not have the necessary support. The commies will take our rights away one little bit at a time and all we can do is watch, weep and let the tea steep.

I know what you mean Dave, I also like Wilderness but I think there must be a limit on how much they lock up. I was born in Northern Idaho and lived most of my life except for my service time up in this area. The state of Idaho has a huge percentage of it's land locked up in Wilderness areas.

One thing that has always bothered me about Wilderness areas is the fact that they do not even allow the managers to use powered equipment, i.e. chain saws, etc... Consequently the trail system that used to be superbly taken care of are now falling into ruins. They do not have enough manpower to keep them clear with hand tools. Not to mention allowing naturally caused fires to run their course. That is just stupid management. Look at the Yellowstone fire.

I just do not agree with locking our citizens out of THEIR land as some of this bill will do with penalties for even setting foot on the land.
