I don't know about that...
..last paragraph...Bill was pretty good at feigning interest in churches(namely those with a black dominance). But then again he was pretty good at apologizing afterwards. I imagine Hillary is practicing her lip biting in the mirror more than she is her "faith."

You just know that in private they laugh at evangelicals, and while I do not consider myself one, my spirituality is important to me and thinking about their cynical use of it just upsets me. I have no problem with atheists, but I do with an atheist who says he isn't to get something from me. I guess I can be petty like that!

What's comical about them is..
...that they think they can "fake it." That they don't think that people of Faith can't see the act is farcical.
By the way, I think they also laugh at the people who vote for them.

My 2cents
1. If a person is truly religious or a person of faith, they don't have to hire anybody to help get the point across.
2. Dems will not become antiabortion/antigaymarriage. They will find some way to make it acceptable, such as throwing around the word tolerance.
3. Yes, there will be people that fall for it. This will be either the ignorants, or the CINO's.
I did detect a line or two that came acrossed as sarcastic. I can only assume that I am having some sort of impact.(if you didn't note the sarcasm there, then that's the next thing we have to work on)

I actually was going to mention Obama in my post. You are exactly right in bringing him up, as Libs seem to feel that Blacks are more easily depicted as "spiritual" [I guess they don't mind racial sterotyping when it helps them] and thus he and Harold Ford both have played the religion card recently. Even Libs must realize watching Pelosi sing hymms would just be too weird.
It will be interesting to watch the next two years as we all are exposed to a side of Christianity we probably never knew existed, the one that minimizes Jesus while emphasising class warfare and tax increases.

It will be interesting to see what happens. Imagine if Hillary actually found a real, saving faith in Jesus. What would that look like?

Of course....
Anyone who has to tell you they "get" religious values doesn't.
