I was ecstatic when McDonnell and the Republicans swept Virginia and whooped it up when Christie took New Jersey. NY-23 was a bit of a letdown but I can live with it, knowing what is to come next year.

You just have to know that the "Blue Dog" Democrats, the very ones that San Fran Nan and Land Deal Reid need to pass their socialistic programs, are looking at the results from last night and saying "Oh, sh!t". They know that if the vote for these government takeovers of our economy they are toast. It is going to be VERY interesting to see how this plays out. I agree with you that we need to keep up the pressure and let them know that we are in no way backing down.

BTW, does anyone know how little Chrissy Matthews, Keith Olberdouche and Richard, uh Rachel, Maddow reacted last night? I simply could not bring myself to tune them in, I was watching Fox News.

I am thrilled about the outcome of last nights elections. I call the NY 23 a win. This man was a total unknown, and looked scared to death in front of a camera. But his message of conservatism won the people over in the short period of time he had.

The major lesson to take away from yesterday's elections is that the loonie rightoid wing of the Repuglican party (to which y'all belong, in spirit, if not in fact) is so impotent, can't even win a minor congressional race, despite its best efforts.

The "big guns" -- Limbaugh, Beck, Palin (tee-hee) -- pulled out all the stops trying to get their man elected in New York's 23rd Congressional District and they failed miserably.

The electorate may not be inclined to elect Democrats simply because there's one they like in the White House, but it's clear they're not listening to you nutbars.

So dream on, fools, dream on. Sooner than you think, 2013 will be here . . . Obama will still be in the White House and you'll still be in the double-wide, trying to find a cheaper mickey of Thunderbird and wondering what happened.
