And it's because of stories like this, that I volunteer in the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts.

My son has just crossed over to Boy Scouts, and is working towards his First Star. Thanks for the Article today!

Thanks, and congratulations to your son.

Tell him the old friar extends his congratulations and a hearty Good Job!

This

is the stuff I like to see. I can handle the bad if I get some good once in awhile.

Thank God for the Boy Scouts!

If anything enforces my belief that the Boy Scouts are one of the best "training" devices available to young men, it is stories like this one CF.

Self-reliance, duty, love of country, and love of God are some of the things that being a Boy Scout teaches.

And some of my most pleasant memories are of the camping trips that I went on as a Boy Scout. (Also as an Explorer Scout, my leader was a Marine recruiter. His girl friend was a Girl Scout Leader in Memphis. Our troops would meet at Sardis Lake and have a wonderful time. All the boys in our troop were 17 or 18 years old, the same for the girls from Memphis.)

We never got in "trouble" (and I am sure that in today's world there would be many raised eyebrows); but in 1968 and 1969 the most exciting thing we did was play Post Office" and "Spin the Bottle". We would also canoe all over the lake, go swimming, cook together, and talk.

Do I have to read this again????????????

Back to you -
Avast there, One and All!
Click on my name and stop by my blog to read "A Tale Of The Raging Sea", a story of high seas and daring deeds and heroism from unlikely sources.

Come on by, ye landlubbers and sailors all, and read a tale of American heroism.

I've read this plea to come to our blog too many times today. I did not read your blog and I have no idea what it's about. Find an appropriate way to advertise and make sure it's relevant to the forum that you are posting in and try again. I did not read your blog and find nothing in your ubiquitous posting that piques my curiosity.

Since you seem to set yourself up as a superior type of person, let me ask you: What do you consider to be an appropriate method of advertising?

First off, unlike television or radio advertising, you are not forced to endure my advertising in order to get back to the show.

You can simply scroll on by and not read what I write.

I take it from your objections to my exercising my freedom of speech that you are a liberal, for only libs actively seek to deny others their freedom of expression.
