The USA is like Disneyland
Everyone one wants to come, but you have to wait in line just to buy a ticket, and once you get in, if you are engaging in bad behavior, you get kicked out.
I wish conservatives would explain how unfair it is for political refugees from Africa, China, etc. to be stuck while millions of Central & South Americans just walk right in and take the opportunities away. Then we would sound like the welcoming, non-racist people that we are.
If you could find the law abiding, hard working illegal immigrants who have paid for their own health care, education, and been honest in paying taxes on ALL of their income, I would be willing to consider giving them a better break than someone who engages in identity theft, lies on legal forms to the government, fails to report cash income, and takes advantage of the support system we have created. Illegal criminals who serve time should serve their sentence in their home country, if possible. A fence with tunnel detection and guard dogs would go a long way towards allowing the US to accept more immigrants from other, just-as-bad-if-not-worse, countries. EVERY OTHER COUNTRY has control of its borders, including Mexico! Arizona's employer penalties are also a great start in encouraging illegal immigrants to go home and get back in line like everyone else. Has anyone asked Juan McAmnesty his opinion of his own state's new law?

McCain does not promise to build the fen
Interesting that you say he will build the fence. I always hear him say that he heard the American people say they want the fence built first. That is a long way from saying he will build it. He does say he will ask that the border Governors to certify that the border is secure, but what does that mean?
He has never moved off his plan to have those illegal aliens simply pay a fine in order to stay. You know that the fines will be waived as soon as someone claims that they don't have the money because they are paid too little.
