Farewell, King of the Hill

Your blog is a beautiful analysis and recollection of what was probably the best adult cartoon ever on television. I never cared much for the Simpsons-a little too crass and rude for my taste. I discovered King of the Hill later on in the series, only a few years ago, but have faithfully watched reruns of earlier shows. Your observations are right on the money about the characters and what they meant to us. I am from the South and know people like them-you're right, they are good folks, salt of the earth! I will miss Hank and co. as well. And, no doubt, Mike Judge IS a brilliant writer!!
