Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but are you saying Religion is hiding Communist Ideology? If so, I'd like to comment on that....

Good morning Dave.
No, I'm demonstrating (perhaps poorly) what liberation theologians have done to candy coat a marxist agenda. Christianity is an "operating system" and as such it is in direct conflict with marxism, also an "operating system". So a person that has chosen to "run" marxism can only selectively run bits of Christianity that do not cause immediate conflict.
At that point Christianity is only a mask with no depth or weight.
These modern marxists throw around slogans like "What would Jesus Do?" when they further a marxist cause and are strangely silent when they don't.

my fault Ken...
I'm befuddled today, my bad. Of course, the bottom line between Marxism and Christianity is choice. God gives us the choice to help others and give through our own sense of charity and love, Marxism says you will give to others, at the point of a gun held by the State. I like your illustrative style....

Very Subtle, KenUSA
It is like the old saying:
"It's a poor gun that won't point both ways."
The Marxists take certain points of Christianity and use them to their advantage.
Therefore Christians must (as advised by the Apostle Paul) study and be totally informed of Scripture to spot the problems in what the "other side" is selling.

The leftists love to camouflage the agenda. They know that in a straight up debate of ideas they lose.
Nice post.

I remember leaning very far left as a kid, but I can't remember, for the life of me, why. I suspect marijuana induced paranoia and a general sense of discontent.
Thank God for the passage of time.

Great post
I saw your comment over at Gunny's blog, and thought I would check out your blog. Very impressive.
When I taught school and students wanted to take the easy way out, I'd use the disgusting comparison by asking them if they wanted me to chew their food for them, if not, don't expect me to do their thinking.
Too many people are getting so busy that they'll let someone else do their thinking for them. They don't bother to think through and ask if it is right, they don't research to see if the ones they're trusting are honest. How sad. They're being fed previously chewed food like birds. I read. I listen. I think.

Thank you for the compliment and visit. I like your analysis about vetting sources. I see the root of nearly all of these foibles as theological in nature.

I too must admit to being KornFuzed until the liberation theology explanation was offered.
My brain is full may I be excused?
Excellent point and well done. It really fits more than just socialism and liberation theology, also applies to the Jim Jones / Brit. Guiana types.

In a few days, I will probably come out on the McCain/Palin ticket. The reason will be clear after tomorrow.
Check my site for new articles (one that I promised I would write 35 years ago).
Also, tomorrow check my site for an article about the oil fields in the USA. Scr*w Red Nanny and the rest of her minions!
What I will print tomorrow will blow the Dumbocraps out of the water and probably force me to support the McCain/Palin ticket.
