I had the pleasure of knowing your father for a short time in my younger life and found him to be quite a gentleman and a wonderful cook as was your mother. I am lucky to still have my parents but I have seen grief up close and personal as I am an RN and I do know that it is definitely a long process of healing. At least God is merciful and lets us hold onto the good things we learned from the ones we loved. I hope that you and your family are doing well and take time to think fondly of your parents often, they were truly good people.
