Arctic Melting Exposing All Kinds Of Things

You do realise, I hope that this is from the Onion, a magazine devoted to satire?

Whew! Well at least there is one good thing about global warming. Did you see that photo? Those secret lairs are obviously contributing huge amounts of greenhous gasses. No wonder the world is warming at such an alarming rate. Now we can shut them down and slow global warming. Also they probably fund the large polluting corporations with their ill gotten gains. We can shut down the lairs and dry up the corporate funds. Finally, a real opportunity to stop AGW!

On the other hand, I am very concerned about that nuclear plant. Without regulatory control, it is likely that the plant has been poorly constructed. We may face a meltdown which will melt the ice caps all at once and boil the seas. Hawaii, New Orleans and various other coastal cities and islands will be lost to us and we won't have to wait 100 years for that unfortunate, yet inevitable event.

The reanimation of primitive men is also very distubing. They probably carry ancient diseases against which we have no immunity. A world-wide plague is surely coming.

Even so, we need to be humane to these people. It is a tragedy that in a world with billionaires many times over who have multiple massive mansions, reanimated primitives are forced to live in squalor on ice-flows. We must do something about this injustice.

Of course I know that. My blog is about making fun of the whole climate change debate. Guess my humor is a little out of reach to some.

Well, at least the poor cave men aren't suffering after all.
