10,000 Terrorists???
There probably aren't 10,000 true terrorists in the entire world, let alone killed or captured in Iraq (and Afghanistan).
Bush really DOES want a new Viet Nam. This sounds like the old "body count" propaganda.
We have to to stop these warmongering, fascist authoritarians in our government and get back to true conservatism. These "Neo-Conmen" are so rabid about maintaining this failing, interventionist military policy in the Middle-East, that they will let our nation crumble to ruins all around them just so they can satisfy their own blood lust.
We need a return to true, courageous, liberty and leadership. We need to stand tall and proud as a nation and lead by example, not force what we want on other people through military invasions and occupations. We must bring our troops home and let the Iraqis clean up the mess we made by removing Saddam Hussein. It's a civil war now, and our presence only makes it worse. The sooner we leave, the sooner the winning side can rebuild what's left of their country.

Re: 10,000 terrorists???
Are you really that naive as to question whether there are 10,000 terrorists in the entire world? There are over 1 billion Muslims in the world and if .1% of them are extremists that 1,000,000 potential terrorists.
You cry warmonger despite all the diplomatic measures that we'd tried prior to war. A dozen UN resolutions since 1992 that Iraq had thumbed their noses at. So instead of treating Iraq like Iran (whom we've been getting diplomatically screwed by since the 1979) we called them out on it. At what point would it cease to be warmongering to a liberal? 13 UN resolutions? 20? 50 before actually getting off our asses and doing something? And if you think removing Saddam was messy, you must not have seen his torture chambers, rape rooms, and ethnic cleansing attempts.
I love how liberals cry for freedom and liberty, yet balk in the face of the freedom that we've won for the Afghanis and Iraqis. How about you just say "thanks" to our troops, congratulate them for securing freedom (again), and leave it at that?

OK, I get you now

You're just a coward. Afraid of different religions, afraid of different language, afraid of people who are just different from you.
You are terrified of these people. So you call them terrorists. You are not alone. There are a lot of cowards like you, unfortunately.
But there are a lot of people like me, fortunately, who are NOT afraid. We are NOT terrified by the actions of a few militants. So if they can't invoke the emotion of terror in us, like apparently they can so easily in cowards like you, then they have failed.
"potential terrorists"
Grow a pair and you'll see that there really isn't that much to be afraid of.

Re: OK, I get you now
Ah, a typical response for a liberal who really has no other argument. Name calling. In most cases slurs like "racist", "homophobe", and "bigot" are used like exclamation points to end an argument.
Nothing I said has anyhting to do with fear, but sad facts. I have no problem with Islam as a religion, just those who distort the religion of peace for violent purposes because in the end beliefs aren't what matters, it's people's actions. I don't care if you're Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or Atheist. The unfortunate reality of the moment is those "few militants" that you so callously dismiss continue to kill innocent civilians by the dozens, even hundreds. And unfortunately 99.99% of those "militants" are Muslim.
So instead of sticking my head in the ground, ignoring the problem, and wishing it would go away, I'm supporting the people who are trying to do something about it. People trying to create democracy and freedom for people who've never had it before.
