Just listening to the Prez.

We have about 15 Divisions in Iraq.
The President is sending about 2 1/2 more.
Sending a Carrier Battle Group to the waters.

Who is guarding the country from a serious invasion?

What are Russia and China getting out of our waffling and pussyfooting in Iraq?

What could happen to strand our troops half a world away???

That's a lot of our troops a long way away and no plan for emergency redeployment...

just kinda scary.

The only thing that I can think of is that having the Iraqis tied to us, since the Iranians are azzhole buddies with China, is a good thing and worth the risk. Don't forget, there is about 80 million legal gun owners in the USA!

80 million NRA would be comforting. With a 'take one with you' agenda it would be pretty expensive invasion.

Don't forget the 12 Million man peasant army that has invaded up through the Southwest. And Believe Me I lived in the Barrio and I know they are armed to the teeth. Mostly 9mm auto pistolas but that is still a large invasion force.

As an aside, I plan on taking lessons soon at a range near me. I got to fire a few rounds from my son's semi-automatic handgun a few weeks ago and loved it. (I'm such a novice, I don't even know what it was but I think a .45) First time I ever fired a gun (except for hubby's black powder rifle he uses for hunting purposes). I am joining the NRA, too! I hope to be one of those armed citizens someday soon.

I think i remember hearing Rush a couple months before the election telling some caller if the D's won it would make his job much easier, since they do so many silly things. As a political novice, i am uncertain about just what serial moonbattery is. Maybe something like "repeated political nincompoopery"?

When Texas enacted the concealed handgun permit law Carjackings in my neighborhood (and a bad one) decreased something like 70%.

He is currently exiled to Siberia and chopping wood for the man. I recently returned from there and it was cold. I have since toned down my insults to the moonbats.

I hope that he is paroled soon.

Here in my state, after becoming a shall-issue state, crime plummeted 45% nearly overnight.
