THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT ON "IN HUMANITY AND INHUMANITY"
YOU'RE DEAD ON THE MONEY WITH McCAIN, AND I THINK THE ENTIRE PARTY WAS NEGIGENT FROM START TO FINISH. MAYBE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO WIN THIS ONE. WHO WOULD? OBVIOUSLY OBAMA, BUT I DOUBT HE'LL BE THE SAME GOING OUT AS HE IS GOING IN.
YOU GOT GOOD STUFF HERE!

McCAIN PLAYED HIS ROLE PERFECTLY AND THE LIBS GET TO SPEND MORE THAN A FEW FORTNIGHTS SUFFERING. THE NEXT ELECTION WILL BE A REBUBLICAN LANDSLIDE AND BEGINNING OF ANOTHER DYNASTY.
THEY DO IT THE SAME WAY IN THE NFL.
YOU GOT GOOD STUFF HERE. I LIKED IT.

The GOP better get its game together for the 2010 congressional race...and of course 2012.
I enjoyed your essays and will continue reading. Thanks for stopping by.

This was so good
it's too bad you only had 3 readers. I'm a late comer and by now the election is history. Bad history. You were right on the nose about both Obama and Mc Cain who continued to cede to Obama till at last he ceded the election. I certainly hope the RNC comes up with a better candidate next time. After 4 years of Obama, we should be good to go for 2012....unless
we come up with another Dole or Mc Cain.

To have any chance in 2012 the GOP will have to clearly define itself. Employing another watered down conservative approach like this past campaign will ensure a 08 repeat. They must nominate a candidate who unequivocally represents the values of traditional conservatives, then stand firmly on that platform come what may.

More
1. The powers of the UN were corrupt with the Oil For Food scandal in which Kofi Anan's son and right hand man were both indicted. The UN and its security council were making money off of Saddam staying in power.
2. When Powell spoke before the UN not long before the invasion, he presented an audio recorded conversation between an Iraqi general and colonel. In the conversation, the general told the colonel that the inspectors would be at his base the next day. That tells everyone that someone from the UN tipped off Saddam's men where the supposedly surprise inspections were going to be ahead of time. The general also told the colonel to make sure everything was clean. What were they hiding? Iraqi playboys?
3. When we went into Baghdad, they found abandoned Iraqi army barracks with chemical and biological weapon suits, masks, and cyringes at the ready. Did they think we were going to use those weapons on them, or did they think Saddam might use them? They weren't planted because the invasion had embedded reporters.
4. Also after we went into Baghdad, we tested the Tigris and they found traces of sarin and mustard gas. How did that happen?
Thanks for your service. I hope you enjoy your retirement in Italy. One place I'd love to go to someday.

I believe your comment was intended for my “Let’s Forget” essay:

No doubt there are additional obvious facts out there debunking the left’s favorite chant: “Bush lied people died”. But factual quantity and accuracy are seldom if ever synonymous with a liberal agenda. They’ll just make bigger protest signs and scream louder and more often with the assistance of a dishonest press. Sadly the truth is sometimes drowned out by the noise.
Thanks for stopping by.
