Social Security and The Fairness Doctrine

One could understand if there were only one Radio or TV broadcast station in a area.. the need for all folks with varying opinions to have access to it. But in a day where vertualy every large community has more than 10 media outlets of varying political viewpoints the need to have a station (particuly a relgious broadcast station) offer counterpoint views that may be againce the conceince of the station owner and staff. many station owners will avoid broadcasting subject material that is contervesral so they don't have to violate thier conceince in having to broadcasting the counter point....the result effectivly silencing the point of views that keep in check unheathy liberal views... ....I am not totaly opposed to new Ideas ...but new Ideas that are not objectivly vetted have a tendacy to produce social problems that are determental later. thus having Stations that have the ability to champion thier viewpoint unfettered with the exception of normal FCC guidlines is important to the vetting of ideas in the public arena.

The liberals do enjoy pretty much the sympathy of the staffs of most of the TV news programs and other TV talk programs...which is watched by virtualy everyone that has an interest in issues of the day....the conservitive view is rarely presented in a welcomed positive light. Fox does a better job than most....

Liberal have outlets for thier Ideas ....lets not stiffle the conservitive counter point necesary to vet new ideas by placing a handicap on them....forcing them to make the hard choice of not airing conterversal programs because of the threat of losing thier station licence if they don't present the counter point.
