Did any of those so-called conservatives who were running stand up in the debates, point to John McLame and say "this guy is a lib!". None of them. Did any of them attack the Anmesty Bill or any of the other extreme legislation he wrote? Mutt Romney did at the end, very timidly. Not one of those conservatives took out an ad in any primary saying "I'm The Conservative". They waffled, they were polite in the face of a liberal coup. It will happen again.
