Will someone define the middle class?

Middle Class

You may be looking for a more technically correct or statistically definable definition of middle class, but I've always considered it more of a colloquialism. It seems to be someone in whatever society who has a certain degree of agency and freedom because of economic or social level, but who still lacks complete power over their own life and circumstances, except through collective union - formal or informal.

Middle Class

I am not looking for a technically correct or statiscally definable definition myself. However, it appears that the phase middle class is easy to throw out there as a term to use. To draw a group of people in that are disenfranchised with their lives for different reasons. And than policy makers or decision makers in Washington DC or State Capitols can make life alter decisions on their behalf.

That was my reason for throwing out the question. I view the term as bait.

Ms. Spencer:

Has your father written a book about his background in the campaign business? I'd be particularly interested in his work with President Reagan or Vice-President Cheney. I know he's been involved with both.

I am an avid "reader" who loves books on Ronald Reagan. I haven't read as much about Cheney, but am interested. Your father's name has come up several times in both connections.

Thanks,
