Means and Ends

To build a consensus, Mr.Warren must compromise and that is where the difficulty lies. To achieve a momentary goal which will bring about a more worthy "larger" future goal, one must sometimes jump in bed with the devil. Would John the Baptist condone such an approach? Mr. Warren is a Christian politician ( ? ) and should be viewed as such. As a politician, it's always, "the ends justify the means." Does any Christian believe he/she can bring about those Christmas values we cherish to cause the world to be as it should be? We act as an influence, a check on the evil around us and try to alleviate the pain and suffering that is everywhere. We occupy for now.......
