Good idea, bad execution

If they would simply take the same process, and limit it to parents, it would force the parents to keep tabs with their children (in order to not be talking from left field), and the input would be coming from somebody as mature as the teaching staff.

The glorification of children's wisdom has been a generational staple since Dr. Spock. It is why Baby Boomers are so off the chain at times- nobody was behind them at the age of 16 slapping them in the head when they said something stupid.
