Thanks. I actually happened on starting the blog by accident. My mouse opened the "Start your own blog" place on the Townhall home page, and I guess I thought I'd post my 2 cents.

As for these young women, I don't think for a moment that they are happy; everything they do seems to be part of their search for happiness. They are looking to others to make them happy, looking to material things, chemical substances...everywhere but where they should be looking. Not to get too religious, but there is a trancendent God out there who offers us unconditional love and acceptance. maybe they should start moving towards God and they would see that many of their "friends" do not have their best interests at heart. And if they don't want to try God, maybe they ought to go on the Demi Moore or Mel Gibson plan...live your real life outside of the trappings of Hollywood. That seems to have helped Demi and Mel stay grounded and in touch with what really matters in life.

Like I mentioned above, it was quite by accident that I started this blog, but I'm glad I did. However, if you believe in some ways of thinking...there are no accidents, and I was somehow wanting to do this subconciously (sp?).

Anyhow, I feel honored that you came over to comment on my new blog. Thanks again!!

You can't get to religious with me -- at least Christian, that is, because I'm a PK -- Preacher's kid. My late father was a Lutheran pastor, so "getting religious" is something I'm very familiar with and happy to be.

They are empty vessels who think temporary numbness (drinking, drugs) is the answer to their unhappiness. Britney was raised Christian, so she OSTENSIBLY knows better. Lindsey & Paris were raised by Leftover Hippies, so they’ve never known ANY OTHER WAY!
