Nice list! I am surprised FDR isn't on it, though. I would have put him ahead of Franco, and behind Mussolini.

I have to agree with YLG,FDR belongs in there somewhere, probably in the top five. His liberal policies introduced in the early part of the 20th century are keenly being felt yet today and we still have no solution(social security for example).
But good list over all...

FDR has a big off set
e.g WWII.
Stipulated, he _did_ encourage the current 'big gov't' mentality and establish some programs that we still have not been able to be rid of (the Soc Sec pyramid scheme, anyone?). On the other hand, he _also_ saw real danger and enemies to the US and led the US through the war. Mostly due to selecting exceptionally talented gents to fight it (Marshall, Nimitz, King, etc) and did his best (on occaision) to stay out of their way.
On balance, I might put him at 7/8, dropping JFK (who lowered taxes and established a worth National goal (Apollo)). OTOH with JFK - he was occaisionally an idiot (BoP - wiretapping domestically, Marylin). What may have happened in a second term? No one really knows, but I would hope that his overriding goal would have been: First, do NO harm.
CF: Good list

I agree about FDR...He was originally on the list, but then it was difficult keeping it to ten. It was not easy picking the names. LOL.

Typical liberal response. Yell out insult, or scream "liar", without any examples, evidence, or thoughtful arguments to that end. Maybe you hope that others will hear you yell that and take you at face value and start screaming liar as well.
"What lies!!!" you say, Ralphie.
Sigh....okay, though this is tiring, much like trying to have an intelligent, adult conversation with a one year old, I will make the attempt.
What exactly are you calling a lie?
Please be specific, and provide reasons for thinking that way, and hopefully evidence to back up your reasons. If you can't do this, then may I politely tell you to STFU?

Could you include a definition of 'liberal' and what points/scale you used to conclude the list? I'm just trying to figure it all out based on a measurable rubric.
Once that is forthcoming, I'd be curious where propagandists like Michael Moore and Joseph Goebbels fall out.

All these Liberal idiots do is make general statements, as if their statement alone (as a Liberal) is worthy of making anything they say THE ANSWER.
The self-inflated opinion they have of themselves never fails to amaze me. However, their arrogance does tend to anger me.

I would also have to give Al Gore an honorable mention. I am afraid we are stuck with him screaming "Global Warming" for the next 10 or 12 years.

Really, there are so many goofy libs out there, that I could probably have written several top ten lists that would have been good without repeating names.

"All these Liberal idiots do is make general statements,"
As do cons who result to insults instead of answering/backing up their assertions. Sorry Grey Ghost, those Faux News tactics don't work on me. Try again.
"...as if their statement alone (as a Liberal) is worthy of making anything they say THE ANSWER."
No. It seems as if Friar has "THE ANSWER".
"The self-inflated opinion they have of themselves never fails to amaze me."
Really? What self inflated opinion? Well, I must admit I'm proud of myself and my accomplishments. I have a nice house, nice car, have a college degree (going back for more), have a woman who loves me, have a baby daughter who adores me, and a job that I actually enjoy and am good at. I do like me some me!!! LOL!
"However, their arrogance does tend to anger me."
As does your ignorance. I really think you cons need to eshew this whole victimhood pity party you'all constantly engage in. I understand that a majority of the contry disagrees with you, your president is an idiot, the SCOTUS will never be a bastion of cons, and the demographics of the nation are rapidly changing. Please cons, grow up.
Ok? I really have noticed that cons have a this self engrained notion that t

Seems as if that is the typical cons response. I see no evidence in your rant that gives credence to your assertion that Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, and Stalin were liberals. How about you back up your assertions with some evidence or a rubric of some sorts.
"Maybe you hope that others will hear you yell that and take you at face value and start screaming liar as well."
Maybe you thought equating American presidents with brutal mass murderers would work. It obviously has not.
"Sigh....okay, though this is tiring, much like trying to have an intelligent, adult conversation with a one year old, I will make the attempt."
Really? Insulting someone in a debate really is quite childish. Don't you agree?
"What exactly are you calling a lie?"
The majority of your post.
"If you can't do this, then may I politely tell you to STFU?"
Wow!!! How grown up of you! For future refernce, don't ever speak to me that way. I'll politely deal with you in various ways.
With that being said, I will await your response. Like Mrs. Paddy, I'm trying to understand your posting.

Okay, now that I know the specifics of what you are calling lies, I will answer you...but it will take more than just a post.
So here's what I will do, RE.
In the next day or so, I will write an article to my blog that explains why I would say that Hitler, Mao, Stalin, and Franco were liberals, at least according to the modern usage of the word liberal.
Okay?
Stay tuned...

PS
Just 2 helpful tips for your upcoming post:
1. Specify "modern day liberal" if you could.
2. Please use unbiased and credible sources. I refrain from using The Nation, Mother Jones, HuPo, Alternet, TPM, etc. Even though these are great publications and are often accurate, I try not to give you cons any opportunity to use my sources to ignore the argument. With that being said, I hope you would refrain from using National Review, Weekly Standard, Faux News, WorldNet, etc.
Just some friendly tips. Take em or leave em.
