go out to your friend, family and yours too. I have dealt with cancer in my family (too many times) and know that prayers and support of family and friends is the most precious gift during this period of time. May God Bless You and Keep You!

One of the hardest things I ever did in the military was to hold my emotions in check at a military funeral. I was the SNCO of an honor guard and had to present the colors to the family.

I've known the words for years, but never the story behind them. Just hearing the music has always choked me up.

The husband of a very dear friend was diagnosed with brain cancer over a year ago. He's still here in spite of many ups and downs. There IS hope.

Thanks for commenting. Dave,my friend, not Mickey(who asked me to post this)has had surgery, they removed 95% of the tumor...woke up and was worried about his troops...he brought all 150 back! He is ready for the fight and will give 250%. I am fighting for him spiritually...
