Sounds like a really encouraging
Party, especially being held in California where libs are so rampant. Three cheers for hope this is just the beginning and we maintain the momentum and dedication to what's right.
Thanks, RB; good job.

Great points
Look, here in SoCal, we are fighting the fact that the Soviet Republic of Sac. is in charge and it does not look like it will change. The Pubs here , as you know , are very weak. Philosophically, we are outgunned here. Still, if the Pubs used this momentum here on Talk Radio, the Net, blogs, and even CSPAN, things would move a bit toward some balance in proposing Constitutional solutions. We on the conserv side are not the extremists. The tax and spenders and the violent prone Left are. It was the Left that used violence when protesting not the Right. See the /60's, remember? Drop by.

It was encouraging to see so many in my "little" town(about 300k).
As a southern california costal comunity we were, until the las election, one fo the few remaining republican counties, abut have now toppled into the demis of the rest of the state in full force. So it was nice to see that conservatives are not dead and not quiet!
And we were jsut one of a many across the state. I haer a guy on the radio make an excellent point. That if there were over 500 parties (some extimate thousand(s) ) and each one averaged 1000 people that means that at least hal a million americans stood up for whats right in unison, and possibly a million or more did.
Keep the faith!

Yeah i think that with the current momentum there is a a real possibility of change here in california. But i have thought that before and been saddened by the end results. we shall see.
It seems the California Republican party is taking notice of the momentum got an email yesterday from this site.

That article should be a cautionary note to all invovled in the Tea Party movement. The GOP and other groups will be attracted to large numbers of possible voters like illegal aliens are drawn to American jobs and politicans are drawn to illegals.
We must be very careful not to get co-opted by association with the power brokers and political elites.
Leaders will emerge from the grassroots. This movement belongs to the people and should stay that way. We had no personalities or politicians at our protest and I was very glad of that fact.
Right now we are a hard target to hit but the minute this movement associates itself with a name entity the press will have a field day. JMO.

I agree with you entirely. this a by the people for the people movement.
having said thatI have to defend Elton Gallegy. He is a hard core fiscal conservative. His voting record is about as impeccable as it gets these days.
but yes, we cannot allow the movement to be taken over by parties or by people.

Don't Say Thousands....
Of course thousands is a dirty word with regards to the tea party. I was clicking channels and heard one guy say, "there were a few hundred people across the US." Oh really! Please we had about 1,000 or more in Santa Ana.
In CA, everyone was just so tired of the taxes that I was with. We were talking about all of the nickeling and diming, from cell phones, cable bills, sales tax and of course I got the great letter from Toyota increasing taxes on my monthly payments because I live in the CA jurisidiction. Never got one of them before.
And we had all parties out there.
Good for you for voicing!!!

absolutely correct!
They wthe media wont reprot it correctly, like most things, because it flies in the face of their candidate.
Its nicve to know that
A) there are still some Americans paying attention.
b) that we actually do know how to use technology for our side
c) that ammo shortages due to increased sales are nationwide.
ok that last one i threw in there not becuase i am planning an armed revolt (you hear that Janet...) but because in america actions and dollars speak louder than words.
if people ina recession are buying guns and amo in droves... there is a reason why they would spend that cash on that instead of food or bills.
I say its a complete and total lack of faith in our governm, ent to do what is right. And like the founders before me if they won't do what is right (i.e. protect my family...) I will.
