Liberal fascism
Barnes and Noble as well as Borders are both national chains and their selection may not be decided on a local level. I would try places like Elliot Bay Book Company or University Bookstore before jumping to conclusions. =)

Independent Booksellers
I stopped by the University Bookstore (deep in the heart of UW Liberal-land, as you well know) and they didn't have it.
Elliot Bay doesn't even sell National Review, Weekly Standard or a slew of other conservative magazines. I highly doubt they are going to have a book that Liberals see as being personally insulting. But if I have the time I'll drop by.
Regarding N&B and Borders being national chains, that is true. If the local managers and buyers are not making the decisions on what to stock, then that means liberals in New York (where its corporate office) are deciding what is being stocked.
BTW, all these stores are refusing to stock a book that opened at #10 on the Democrat Times of New York Best Sellers list. They are stocking plenty of American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War On America, which is nowhere to be found on teh NYTimes list. Go figure.

Hmmm
Well, I've only been to Elliot Bay a handful of times, but in my experience the University Bookstore has been wellstocked in all kinds of books.

Agree on University
I absolutely agree about University. I was browsing the SF/F section and discovered a couple of Tim Powers chapbooks (The Bible Repairman & Soul in a Bottle), which I've not seen anywhere else.
