Comment on: Pro McCain

conservatives and McCain

Sorry I don't agree.

I think that just the opposite is what needs to happen. I think that people who are "holding their nose" to vote for McCain are sidelining their values in vain.

I see no reason to vote for McCain.

McCain will nominate liberal judges if elected. I know that he is saying that he will not, but you can't always believe everything a candidate says, especially when they have historically been a problem about this, and if the congress goes democrat then nevermind trying to nominate a conservative. They will fight it, and you would get some "straight talk" that McCain would give you as to why he must "reach across the alse" and nominate a liberal.

There are many other things that McCain has not gained any trust on either.

Finally McCain realistically has very little chance. If you look at the electoral map and consider McCain's low level of support it really doesn't look good for him.

I think that the only conservative answer to make 2008 all about congress. It would take everyone by suprise and might even help to turn things around or atleast work towards it. If they ignore this now in favor of supporting McCain who will not win and would have been a liberal anyways, they will be doing it in 2010. Don't wait until then. The time is now.
