Well Scott to my surprise I have followed you over to your new blog. Regarding your article on the fall of Great Britain…soon to be Lesser Britain:

There is a saying that history repeats itself…but in actuality people (nations) repeat history.

In history all nations and empires transition. Many fall into oblivion never to rise again.

As history has shown over the centuries even the most mighty fall. It is quite evident that there is a pattern here of human behavior and decision making that is ineffective for sustaining these empires. And the metaphoric story in the bible of David slaying Goliath bears this out.

What seems to be at issue here is how soft and delayed the West’s response is to its enemies.

The Bush administration has so much on its plate that it has become paralyzed by its monocular perception of the Iraqi war being the center of the war on terror.

I am so mad at Bush because he has become terminally lame.

Why has he not attacked North Korea, Syria and Iran? What is he waiting for? The very least he should be doing is carpet bombing them all daily.

He has taken the easy way out with rhetoric waiting for a successor to inherit this war on terror and get himself off the hook.

You see Scott as I told you before I am a right wing conservative critical of my party’s ineptness to get on the stick and act!

Britain should have given 24 hr notice to release the hostages or they would start bombing everything they could in Iran. Yet Tony Blair chickened out and Bush was mute.

The Fat Lady has sung. Now that Bush has lost Britain as a reliable ally it’s over. We can’t go it alone. We just don’t have the world wide resources to do so. God help us all.
