I like it

The freedom loving, peace loving world is in a tough spot. You can't negotiate a peace with these guys--when it suits them they just break their agreements. Think North Korea and Arafat in their dealings with Clinton. I just think Bush didn't want to walk down a path that has proven to be a waste--negotiating with them and using the corrupt UN. And yet for political gain Bush' enemies put their politics ahead of the country and caterwaul continuously..

...if "unconditional surrender is almost always the only precursor to lasting peace," then why is it "a tough choice for our leaders?" Sounds pretty easy to me.
