You are a shrewd reader. Some of the most informative parts of a story are the parts left unstated.

In this story we are not told whether Rahab had any formal religious training. We can surmise that she did not. She was unburdened by preconceived notions and did not require any "unlearning". She could see the reality that was right in front of her.

Knowledge of the fruit fueled her belief in the tree.
