Obama is ahead in Virginia !....

Yes,It's true...the Great Pretender is ahead in a state that hasn't went democrat in 40 years, according to the pols!...those multi-cultural Rednecks are just waiting to vote for a preening effeminate black man, with an exotic Muslim name, who is a hard Left Socialist of the failed European variety...at a time of war with Radical Islam!!!
It's like Bill Clinton said "It's all a fairy story"

Here in Virginia it is still close. McCain and Palin finally showed up in Virginia Beach on Monday but it is too soon to judge what effect that will have. Big turnout for the two stops they made. 50-55k in combined attendance. I still say VB is the key to the State.

"multi-cultural Redneck"? Colin, trust me on this one, a Redneck thinks a multi-culturist is somebody who fishes both fresh and salt water.

The answer can be found in Northern Virginia. We used to call them carpetbaggers but these days democrat is the more common term.

I think the crowd of Democrat voters in Arlington pictured above this post might make a difference if its close! I truly don't know what people are thinking when they consider voting for that Obama. Aren't taxes high enough? isn't the government oppressive enough?

chair for mediocrity in evil studies

the DNC?

Never been fishing!!

Do you drink beer? Well, fishing is the same thing only you're surrounded by water while you do it. Nobody cares if they catch anything.

I grew up in Nevada. Nowhere to fish. We went hiking and rock climbing.

Fishing, Hunting, and Rednecks

Skep41, I too am voting McShame, partially to oppose O'Vomit and partially because I want to see what Palin does as President of the Senate. It should be interesting to see Sarah go against Teddy the Swimmer and Dingy Harry.

As to the election, I don't have a clue who will win. All my wife and I can figure to do is to pray and vote. Which we will do.

Now as to my subject (i.e., Fishing, Hunting, and Rednecks), your article has many great points of what could happen if O'Vomit is elected. A depression that makes the 1930's "Great Depression" look like "a walk in the park" is very possible. If it occurs, the big cities will be Death Traps.

However, most Rednecks live in rural areas. Most Rednecks grew up knowing how to fish and hunt. Most Rednecks own a gun or two (or as in my case, an arsenal). A Depression will do alot to remove the Looney Left and most of the bureacracy from the "food chain". Most Rednecks would survive.

Also, I truly doubt that the Military would go into the rural areas and confiscate food for the big cities. In the event of a Depression, the Military will be doing good to keep acitive duty units together. The big cities could see violence beyond our wildest nightmares, and a complete break-down in law and order.

President For Life Obama will handle this national emergency with a firm hand. Counterrevolutionary sabateurs and traitors will be dealt with by the rigorous application of revolutionary justice...not your feeble petit-bourgeous 'justice' shackled to a racist constitution but the angry law of The People! See you in hell, brother!

Beer is for off-road driving in the desert. Beer is what you get from an ice-cold cooler in Mexico. Beer is served warm and delicious in English pubs on a cold day. But fish?

The Barr problem

Skep, you did a great job here with this blog entry, I loved it.

I will also add emphasis to your closing comments about Bob Barr voters: They surely know not what they do?? Wrong. They do know, but don't seem to care.

I live in a predominately Republican area, but you would never know it at our local paper. Libertarians and closet liberals have taken over their website.

Republicans can't even post their views at our local newspaper website without getting bombarded and attacked by "Libertarians" and stray liberals who uphold gay rights and atheism, but don't dare say outright they are Democrats. Inevitably though, if you read enough of their comments, this turns out to be the case.

I find that most of the Libertarians for Barr are very young. Old enough to vote, but too young to realize they are helping to destroy our country with naive ideals of Libertarian utopia.

The Barr supporters are going to be voting for Obama by proxy, and this is a sad fact. We need those votes, McCain should have reached out to these folks sooner.

How did I manage to convey the idea that fishing involves fish? I don't even like fish! I was very fond of beer and hence have spent hundreds of hours fishing.

I have a cousin in Mississippi who is very fond of fish but not fishing. He short cuts the process by using dynamite. I don't fish with him!

As I've noted at my place before, Barr is a Goracle worshipper and no friend of mine. Now the Left says the illegal votes have been payed for in blood, as in the civil rights struggle and slavery. But I'd like to counter that argument with a picture of the cemetaries at Gettysburg and Antietam Creek. Then let's have a discussion about blood payments.
New post.

It is a Great Tradition

where He got His political training. Chicago's dead have been voting for the Democrats for about 100 years...some of them in every election during that time!
