On Cramer, “The Daily Show,” and Stewart’s Great Pedestal

Agree and disagree...

First, Cramer is an entertainer. He jumps around a lot because it has to be exciting to keep its viewers. You either enjoy it or you don't - not a big deal.

My biggest problem with Stewart is that he runs a "fake" news show that is serious when he wants to be - like with Cramer. He conducted a semi-legitimate interview and just ripped into Cramer, but if Cramer had done the same, you would hear Stewart's go-to defense: "this is just a fake news show."

Concurrence

I am in agreement. Truth is, this is the very nature of television. If you don't keep viewers interested they are going to go somewhere else and your very job will be in jeopardy. Cramer certainly developed a fan base by his style and my statement was only a mere reflection of my personal preferences rather than an absolute judgment concerning the nature of his show.
