I bothered to read about 100 plus responses to George Wills column last week on the Fuzzy Math
of Global Warming. I'll bet he even got threats of physical violence against his person, so vitriolic was 90 percent of the posts! Religion
or becomming a dangerous cult?

I'd say it's too large of a movement to be a cult. But you're right, opposition is becoming dangerous, even on the right side of the spectrum (though I'm not sure that 90% of the response to will were negative).

Now, I'm no scientist, but neither are most of the people making apocalyptic predictions concerning global warming.
