Top Five Reasons to Abandon Iraq

I saw your pointed comments on other columns. I wanted to get the message. It was the one on Prager's column about you probably know me that really got me. That was good. I thought it would be a nice post here.

You, sir, are a complex subject. Your writing is quite poor, but your ideas and expressions are rich. I read the first four of your posts as found in this blog.

You nearly lost me with your "Chairman Mao" and "Sendero Luminso" (shining path) and the five reason to get out of Iraq. But smelling I don't know what, I plowed ahead to find what dastardly person was writing at TH.

Now I am no bastion of English grammar, but I do use a spell checker, and proof read what I wrote to find missing words, wrong words spelled correctly and ask, does it say what I really wanted to get across, so that the other guy can read and understand.

That's the criticism. On the other hand you have tremendously good ideas. I am really intrigued by what you have to say. The continuity of ideas and the lead up to a thought are almost fantastic. You are one of the cleverest writers of ideas I have had the pleasure to run across.

Your knowledge of historical events is good, and you bring your points to the front in a most laudable way. I can only ask you to hang in there and keep up the good work. Quite frankly, in spite of the flaws, you definitely are a very powerful writer of ideas.
